A seat for Frederick Hobrath

On the corner of 3rd Av. and Astor place, in front of a Starbucks there is a marble bench. I saw some people have sat on it. It was empty when the weather got too cold. It's always there.

Few days ago, I found this bench was engraved with a story of a man called Frederick Hobrath. He used to live around that neighborhood and died on that spot.
